Welcome to Renty! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between Renty, its users (“Customers” and “Vehicle Providers”), and the services offered through our platform. By using Renty, you agree to abide by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Introduction
Renty is a vehicle booking platform that facilitates the rental of vehicles with or without a driver. We act solely as an intermediary between Customers and Vehicle Providers. By using our services, you agree that Renty is not liable for any damages, losses, or disputes arising from the vehicle rental process.
2. Services Provided
- Vehicle Booking: Customers can book vehicles with or without drivers through the platform.
- Commission: Renty charges a 20% commission on every booking made through the platform.
- Verification: Renty verifies the Customer’s driving license and the condition of the vehicle via video documentation before handing it over.
3. Responsibilities
Vehicle Providers
- Must ensure their vehicle is in good condition before handing it over.
- Are responsible for equipping vehicles with trackers and insurance for safety purposes.
- Are solely liable for any damages, theft, accidents, or legal issues related to the vehicle or driver while rented.
Customers
- Must provide a valid driving license for verification before renting a vehicle.
- Are responsible for returning the vehicle in the same condition as received.
- Share liability with the Vehicle Provider for any damages, losses, or accidents occurring during the rental period.
For Vehicles With Drivers
- Vehicle Providers and their associated companies are entirely responsible for the conduct of the driver and any legal issues or circumstances arising during the rental period.
4. Damage, Loss, and Legal Issues
- Any disputes regarding damages, theft, or accidents must be resolved directly between the Customer and the Vehicle Provider.
- Renty is not liable for damages, losses, or legal disputes arising during the rental period.
5. Recommendations by Renty
- Vehicle Providers are encouraged to install GPS trackers in their vehicles for enhanced safety.
- Vehicle Providers should ensure that their vehicles are insured against theft, damages, and other risks.
6. Payment Terms
- Customers are required to pay the agreed rental amount plus any applicable taxes and fees, including Renty’s 20% commission.
- Payments must be made through the platform or any authorized payment method.
7. Termination of Use
Renty reserves the right to terminate any account or booking if these Terms are violated or if fraudulent or illegal activity is suspected.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in accordance with the legal jurisdiction of Pakistan.
9. Disclaimer of Liability
- Damages or losses to vehicles or drivers.
- Legal disputes between Customers and Vehicle Providers.
- Any unforeseen incidents or accidents during the rental period.
10. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Renty reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be notified to users via email or platform announcements.
